Very solid and appealing early half dollar. Lettered edge. Nice rims and free of dings, blemishes, or other defects. I'd imagine the obverse has been cleaned long ago, as it is lighter than the reverse, but it has toned back nicely. Great reverse shield detail, but some striking weakness in the middle field has obscured some of the stars. All in all, a super type coin at an affordable price.
