What this coin looks like (obverse, reverse, mint mark location, special features, etc.):
The US Mint collaborated with an online gaming company called Nice Game on their video game 'Eighth Era' in an effort to bring gamers - as well as their family and friends - into the coin collecting world. Nice Game has a system of rewarding real-world prizes to gamers for in-game achievements. This is a genuine US Silver Eagle minted by the US Mint. The coin is not available directly from the US Mint. Instead the coin is obtained through Nice Game by winning it in the game or by purchasing it from the gaming company. It is also available through the US Mint's network of authorized bullion dealers and the secondary market.
Only 500000 coins were minted in Philadelphia - and this coin has anti-counterfeit security features including the variable reed edge. It is also the very first bullion (no mint mark) coin to have a privy mark. The star privy mark is located on the obverse just to the bottom-right of the designer's initials.
