What this coin looks like (obverse, reverse, mint mark location, special features, etc.):
2020 (P) Bullion American Silver Eagle

The 2020 (P) Silver Eagle is an Emergency Production Issue coin produced by the Philadelphia Mint to help meet demand for the Silver Eagles during the COVID-19 pandemic. These coins were produced between April 8th and April 20th in 2020 - and a total of 240000 were produced. These coins are identified in a similar manner to those produced between 2015-2017 - by using serial numbers on 500-coin "monster boxes" sold to dealers. The Philadelphia Mint coins are identified by the serial numbers between 400000 and 400479. Because there are no "P" mint marks on these coins and they are nearly indistinguishable from West Point silver eagles - these serial numbers are the best way to identify these coins.
