The 1943 S Doubled Die Obverse (DDO) is one of the major errors in the Washington Quarters series. This San Francisco minted coin features prominent doubling of the words "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST" on the obverse of the coin. The 1943 date is also clearly doubled as depicted above in the example image.
