There were two major varieties of the 1832 Coronet Head Large Cent (Penny). One variety features smaller letters on the reverse of the coin while the other has larger letters. The difference between the two varieties and sizing of the medium letters vs large letters can be seen in the example comparison image of the coins above. Note the distance and alignment between the letters and the wreath as well as the spacing between the letters.
