1807 Capped Bust Half Dollars : Large Stars

What This Coin Looks Like (Obverse, Reverse, Mint Mark Location, Special Features, etc.):

There were two major varieties of the 1807 Capped Bust Half Dollar. One variety had smaller stars on the obverse of the coin and the other had larger stars. The variety depicted above is the "Large Stars" variety.

The small stars are more pointy or spiky in shape while the larger ones are thicker and the "spikes" are more triangular. Another easy way to identify this coin is to note that the smaller stars are further away from the rim denticles with more space between the stars and edge of the coin. The larger stars are actually much closer to the rim denticles and they nearly touch the edge. The spacing is depicted by the arrows in the image below.
