One major variety of the 1808 Draped Bust Half Cent (Penny) is the 1808/7 Overdate error. This features an 1808 date struck over an 1807 date which resulted in bits of the underlying "7" appearing just above the last "8" in the date. An example of this is depicted by the arrows in the image above.
