What This Coin Looks Like (Obverse, Reverse, Mint Mark Location, Special Features, etc.): One variety of the 1806 Draped Bust Half Dollar features a pointed "6" in the 1806 date and no stem through the eagle's claw on the reverse of the coin. Looking at the reverse of the coin: The eagle is holding a branch in it's claw on the right side. Typically there will be a stem extending through the claw and downward. Some varieties do not have a stem going through the claw (such as this variety).
