1850 Large Date - Liberty Head $10 Gold Eagle - Ten Dollars
There were two major varieties of the 1850 Liberty Head $10 Gold Eagle. This variety depicted above features a Large Date with noticeably larger numbers in the 1850 date - while the other variety features smaller numbers. The small date variety is slightly rarer and more valuable. The difference between the Large Date vs Small Date is depicted below in the example comparison image.
