1807 Capped Bust Half Dollar Varieties - Differences and Comparisons
There were multiple varieties of the 1807 Capped Bust Half Dollar. The two major varieties feature different sized stars on the obverse of the coin. One variety featured small stars which are further spaced away from the rim of the coin. The other variety features larger stars which sit very close to the rim or edge of the coin. The difference between the two varieties is depicted above in the example comparison image.

Another variety features an error on denomination at bottom of the reverse of the coin. A "50 C." is struck over a "20 C." which resulted in part of the underlying "2" being noticed just to the left of the "5" as depicted below in the example image:

The next major variety is the "Bearded Goddess" Capped Bust Liberty Half Dollar. This rare and valuable variety features a major die crack on the obverse of the coin. It resulted in a prominent crack between the chin and bust of the liberty portrait - hence it looked like a beard. The crack can also be seen through liberty's headband and through the eye. The crack also extends through the lower bust and just to the left of the 1807 date as depicted below:
