The 1826/6 Capped Bust $2.50 Gold Quarter Eagle coins features a 6 Over 6 overdate (or repunched date) and all 1826 quarter eagles feature this. Some say this is actually an 1826/5 over date where the 1826 date was struck over 1825. The theory against this claims that it must be a repunched date with a "6 over 6" because the stars on the obverse of the 1825 coin are smaller than those on the 1826 coin - so it couldn't be 1826/5 and must be 1826/6 due to the completely different design.
