What This Coin Looks Like (Obverse, Reverse, Mint Mark Location, Special Features, etc.):There were two major varieties of the 1803 $10 Gold Turban Head Eagle. One variety features small stars on the reverse of the coin above the eagle (as depicted above - source of example image is courtesy of Heritage Auction Galleries) - while the other has larger stars. The small stars have a different style and are smaller with pointy tips. The large stars are noticeably larger and fatter without the spiky/pointy tips that the small stars have.
