There was the brilliant uncirculated gold bullion coin (depicted above) and the mirror-like gold proof coin (depicted below). Both $10 denomination coins bear the West Point "W" mintmark and contain 1/2oz of fine gold. The obverse of the coin depicts the portrait of Eleanor Roosevelt - the spouse of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The reverse of the coin depicts Eleanor Roosevelt's hand lighting a candle - which symbolizes her life's work and global impact of her humanitarian initiatives.
