What This Coin Looks Like (Obverse, Reverse, Mint Mark Location, Special Features, etc.):
1810 Classic Head Large Cent Penny - 1810/09 vs Normal Date
There were two major varieties of the 1810 Classic Head Large Cent (Penny). The first is simply the normal 1810 date. The second variety is an 1810/09 overdate error which features an 1810 date struck on top of an 1809 date which resulted in part of the last two digits of "09" being seen under the "10" in the date. These features are depicted by the arrows in the example image above comparing the differences between the varieties.

Major Varieties:
1810 Classic Head Large Cent - Normal Date
1810/09 Classic Head Large Cent - 10 Over 09 Overdate
