What This Coin Looks Like (Obverse, Reverse, Mint Mark Location, Special Features, etc.):
1811 Classic Head Large Cent Penny - 1811/0 vs Normal Date
There were two major varieties of the 1811 Classic Head Large Cent (Penny). The first is simply the normal 1811 date. The second variety is an 1811/0 overdate error which features an 1811 date struck on top of an 1810 date which resulted in part of the underlying "0" in the 1810 date being seen under the last "1" digit in the 1811 date. These features are depicted by the arrows in the example image above comparing the differences between the varieties.

Major Varieties:
1811 Classic Head Large Cent - Normal Date
1811/0 Classic Head Large Cent - Last 1 Over 0 Overdate
