Both $10 denomination coins bear the West Point "W" mintmark and contain 1/2oz of fine gold. The obverse of the coin depicts the portrait of Barbara Bush - the spouse of President George H.W. Bush. The reverse depicts a person reading a book in front of an open road which symbolizes literacy and knowledge as well as life's journey - and the sun represents a brighter future.
