2013 W Enhanced Uncirculated American Silver Eagle

The 2013-W "Enhanced Uncirculated" American Silver Eagle was the first US coin of its kind ever made. This coin was produced as part of a 2-coin silver eagle set to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the West Point Mint. The 2-coin set also included a 2013-W Reverse Proof coin and originally sold for $139.95.

The Enhanced Uncirculated coin was produced at the West Point Mint using a highly innovative and technologically advanced minting process. This coin has 3 brilliant contrasting layers which included a background field with a "soft frost" satin finish and main details in a "heavy frost" satin field and other details in a mirror-like "proof" finish. This coin was struck as an uncirculated coin with proof-like features - making it one of the most unique and sharpest designs on any US coin.
