The 1860 "Pointed Bust" Indian Head Cent (Penny) is one major variety of this series. This is best identified by viewing the pointed bottom portion of the Indian bust. This part of the bust is slimmer than the rounded bust. The difference between the pointed bust vs rounded bust is shown in the example image of the coin above.
