The 1864 "No L" Indian Head Cent (Penny) variety features the absence of the "L" initial on the ribbon behind the Indian head and bottom feather. Depicted in the image shows where the "L" would be located between the arrows behind the Indian Head. This example depicts the coin without the "L".
