John, All coins I ship are the exact coins shown in the posted photos. I scan all my coins as opposed to taking photos. As you noticed the coins may appear slightly different than the actual coin because of the way the scanner interprets the colors. The advantage to scanning is that it shows all defects in the coins that may not be apparent in normal photos. Ed Greenfield
