RE: 1824 Half Dollar Received today - 5/30/23 This coin, seems to me, should be graded 'About Uncirculated' (AU). Liberty's facial features and hair are well defined. Every feather on the reverse eagle is very clear and well defined. All lettering on both sides show very little wear. Fantastic condition for a two hundred year old coin. I am very pleased!!! RE: 1913-P & 1913-D Buffalo Nickels Received today 5/26/23. Both coins in XF condition - very nice. The 'D' (Denver) mint mark is really tiny and indistinct and only shows under very bright light. RE: 1856 & 1876-S Seated Liberty Quarter Received 5/24/23 Both coins are really great condition, especially the 1876 coin as EVERY feather on the reverse eagle is very distinct. If it wasn't for the (natural) discoloration, It could qualify for AU-58 (Very Choice About Uncirculated). The eagle feathers on the 1856 are not quite as distinct, showing a little wear. RE: 1867 Shield Nickel - with Rays Received today (5/18/23) Very pleased with my purchase. Frankly, I would have graded this coin as 'Fine' rather than VG-10. Details on both sides of the coin are very clear with little sign of wear. Thanx again, Chuck Stembridge proteus@cascadeaccess.com

RE: 1864 2 Cent Piece Received today (5/20/23). Beautiful coin - I am very pleased! Coin is certainly 'VF' Grade, in fact better, so I graded it VF-25 rather than VF-20. The only lettering that shows wear is the 'WE' in the motto, and keeps the coin from being graded 'EF' or 'XF-40'. That portion seems to be very slightly higher than the rest of the Motto, and subject to faster wear - Very common in most coins that have a motto. 1917-P Type 2 Standing Liberty Quarter EF-45 Received today (5/3/23) Very nice coin, most details clearly visible. I'm Very pleased. Note: Standing Liberty Quarters seem to suffer from very poor wearing of date and miniscule Mint Mark (very hard to see, even with mag glass). Date is nearly worn down to indistinguishable - seems to be a feature with this particular style of quarter, no matter how fine the condition.
