Reply by atchisonbj: Buyer ordered two Lincoln Cents totaling $8.00. "Economy Shipping" means the order will be shipped as First Class Mail. When the envelope arrived at his address cut opened without the coins I did agree on the conference call to send him replacement coins and did so once I bought a suitable replacement for him at my next show. I did indicate in the letter with the replacement coins that I would do this one time as theft of coins while in USPS custody is a problem that should be addressed with his local postmaster. I did file a theft report with the US Postal Inspection Service on his behalf. I weigh all orders are weighed on a postage scale to insure correct amount of postage is affixed to all orders. The "Postage Due" issue also needs to be addressed with his local postmaster. It is important to me that my customers have a satisfactory buying experience. Unfortunately this is case where a buyer chooses to blame the seller for USPS issues outside the seller's control.
