I don't think the obverse is AU at all - looks as vf-xf (much wear on the high points - ear for instance). The reverse is much better - the lines are all there on the wheat ears. I am just going to keep my original 1910-S - it is about xf but it matches front and back.

This coin is dark as pictured but in great condition. It is a definite upgrade to the "fine" or so Lincoln that it is replacing.
