Reply by tcrull: Thanks for the positive feedback. There's a story that goes with the coin: my French wife's grandparents ran a charcuterie shop in Javron-les-Chapelles (France). During WWI, American soldiers bought some things using their American money. The grandparents held on to the coins and my wife ended up with them. Little did we know they had some value. It is a well traveled coin. -Tim

Reply by tcrull: Hi Lance - Glad they've found a good home. They had been in this little French cough drop tin in my wife's family since WWI. My wife's sister wanted to ditch them when they were cleaning their parents house in rural France, but my wife wisely held on to them (to our mutual benefit). Thanks for the .positive reviews. Tim
