Got here quickly! Looks great. Don’t normally consider foreign gold but the price was right and early 1900s was an interesting period for history here along the border. This coin is 1906 and I think the Mexican Revolution was 1910 - 1920 so it was likely a contentious time. Poncho Villa was busily recruiting American support along the border or at least commitments to not interfere with the revolution that ousted Porfirio Diaz and brought Madero into power in Mexico. Not sure I got the names right, been a while since I’ve studied my US - Mexico history, but I think I still remember the broad topics…anyhow, thanks for another great coin.

Fast arrival, nice looking coin. The mid 1860s through the 1870s are tougher coins, especially in decent condition…this one looks great. That leaves me 10 to go to have a complete tribe.
