Reply by RMG: I received the 1917-P to quickly say.It is not a EF state at all.But in a fine state when the cheek and jaw are both worn to a same flat level state. As will the actualt wheat shows wear not the stalks. As for the wheat shows no details only the stalks lines happen to be clear.Bottom line to be in any EF state there will be very minimal wear on both cheek and the jaw period. As to be expected to be the state below any AU.Which should not have but the most slight sign almost not at all. With that all said. The EF isn't to far from the AU .Do in whole to exactly how that state reads.EXTRAFINE for the details. Here you will not see many details at all period. But wear on and across all high points for whats only left.OF all and for anyone that has that difficult time telling one from that other.Look good and look well at the jaw and cheek.IF at all happen to be worn than protruding. Its a VF or less.Hope this helps in the future with your grading.
