Here I offer a nice EF or better copper medal by Kirk in August of 1773. Known as a Sentimental token or medal they were given with subscriptions to the Sentimentalist magazine. There were13 different (and several varieties and metals) and this is one of them. Could have seen service as a halfpenny. Current in early America. See the scans. |
