1792-1794 Kentucky Token High Grade US Colonial Copper Penny. Scarce historic coin. Truly excellent detail initials of states on reverse of coin are well defined. Unfortunately this coin was graded as cleaned by PCGS. A beautiful, historic, and wonderful addition to your collection.

The Kentucky Cent  was minted in England between 1792 and 1794. It is part of a series of American Colonial coins and Merchant tokens. It features a pyramid with 15 stars, each representing a state at the time. The top star has the letter "K" for Kentucky, the 15th state. The coin’s obverse includes the phrase "UNANIMITY IS THE STRENGTH OF SOCIETY" and a hand holding a scroll that says "OUR CAUSE IS JUST". The reverse has "E PLURIBUS UNUM" above the pyramid.
