This is a replica of the 1793 Copper Flowing Hair Wreath Reverse Cent that is marked 'COPY' on the reverse. This was one of the first coins issued by the US Mint in 1793. This specimen has a plain edge which makes it sort of unique as standard-issue coins had a lettered edge stating ONE HUNDRED FOR A DOLLAR, OR had a vine and bars edge. There were only 63353 specimens made of the wreath reverse cent. This is a way of owning a replica of this rare coin for educational purposes. The replica is made of copper and weighs 13.37+/- grams and measures 27+/- mm in diameter. Please bid with confidence based on my 100% positive feedback on eBay for over 10 years. Shipping is by USPS First Class Mail and is FREE. Returns accepted within 14 days; buyer pays return shipping costs.
