This item is a 1793 Flowing Hair Chain Reverse Large Cent Exonumia Fantasy Coin. It is not a replica or a reproduction of a standard-issue US Mint coin as the coin has a plain edge. Standard issue chain reverse flowing hair cents displayed an edge with bars and slender vine with leaves. The 1793 cent was one of the first coins issued by the US Mints and only 36,103 were issued. The coin is made of copper. It weighs 9.05+/- grams and measures 27+/- millimeters in diameter.
