This is a replica of the 1794 Flowing Hair Dollar, Small Eagle Reverse, that is marked 'COPY' on the reverse. The 1794 Dollar was issued by the Philadelphia Mint with a lettered edge that read HUNDRED CENTS ONE DOLLAR OR UNIT. However, this 1794 specimen has a PLAIN edge with no lettering.
