This is a replica of the 1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar that is marked 'COPY' on the obverse. The 1795 Half was issued by the Philadelphia Mint but only 299,680 coins were minted and all of the coins were minted in Philadelphia. This is a way of owning a replica of this rare coin for filling a spot in a collection, or for educational purposes. The replica is made of brass and weighs 13.39+/- grams.
