This is a replica of the 1795 Flowing Hair Small Eagle Reverse Half Dime that is marked 'COPY' on the reverse. Flowing hair half dimes were minted in 1794 and 1795 only and all were minted in Philadelphia. The small eagle was displayed on the reverse. Only 86,416 were minted during the two years. This is a way of owning a replica of this rare coin for filling a spot in a collection, or for educational purposes.
