1803 Large Cent

Fairly rough. Correctly attributed as S-245 by a previous owner. This is known as the Unicorn variety, because a die clash causes a protrusion from Liberty's forehead - this feature is not clearly visible on this coin, however. The die clash at her throat, along with the large, distinctive reverse cud, make this one easy to attribute.
