A survivor of earliest America, this 1807 Half Cent displays the environmental damage in the form of the corrosion and deterioration of the shoddy copper onto which these early small change coins were struck.

Judging the exact grade of this coin is left to the viewer, but we could all hope to be looking this good still once we are so old!**

A note to viewer: determining the date on this coin is rather difficult obviously but after a lot lot lot of examination and multiple opinions 1807 appears to be what it is, there is always a chance that this determination is not correct, but im not willing to pay to grade this coin nor do i suspect it would be worth doing so even

In any case, its cool to hold such an old American coin i find that its real value is intrinsically historic, and it deserves to be kept preserved for the future by someone more into these as a type of coin i think. I will do my best with it meanwhile. Make an offer!
