ATTRIBUTION:**
Obverse (5-s3): Star 1, 7, 8, 13 positions are 0, (4 3), 5, 0
Tiny center dot on neck. Die crack through 2 of the date and bisecting hair.
Die crack through the 8 in the date that partially fills lower loop and progresses to top of second 1 through curls.
Die crack Another die crack from base of 18 to the left joining all stars.
Additional die crack from edge below star 13 to curl.
Reverse (E): The "I" in PLURIBUS is slightly left side of the 2nd "T" in STATES.
Center dot between azure lines 4 and 5 on the left. Long die line from 3rd azure line into right wing.
Edge Lettering: "FIFTY CENTS OR HALF A DOLLAR"
This scarce variety CBH specimen has an interesting heavy bisecting die crack on the reverse and several die cracks on the obverse.
Also, offsetting die strike is most evident on the reverse. Pin scratch on the obverse.
