This item is a 1815 Capped Bust Quarter Dollar Exonumia Fantasy Coin. It is not a replica or a reproduction of a standard-issue US Mint coin as the diameter of the item is larger than the standard mint issue for this date. The diameter of the Capped Bust quarters was reduced in 1815 to 27mm. This coin is dated 1815, but has a non-standard diameter of 28mm. In addition, the stars on the obverse are not totally correct in their placement around the rim. The coin is made of copper with silver plating.
