ATTRIBUTION:
Obverse (11): Star 1, 7, 8, 13 positions are 1, (2 0), 1, 3
The 1818 date is fully repunched. Star 1 is sharply recut with two extra lower points. A curved recutting mark at lower left of the first 8.
Reverse (J-s2): The "I" in PLURIBUS is slightly right of the 2nd "T" in STATES
Arrowheads lightly connected. AM close with base of A higher. E higher than T and S in STATES.
Edge Lettering: "FIFTY CENTS OR HALF A DOLLAR"

Pin scratches are noted on the obverse and porosity noted on reverse leaves.
