This item is a 1822 Capped Bust Quarter Dollar Exonumia Fantasy Coin. It is not a replica or a reproduction of a standard-issue US Mint coin as the coin has the same diameter of the 1804-1807 Draped Bust Heraldic Eagle reverse quarters. Beginning in 1815, the diameter of the quarter was slightly reduced from the Draped Bust design. The coin is made of copper with silver plating.
