I grade it a fine, but grading is subjective so you grade? This coin will soon be 200 years old!

What I did was take a small copper electrical wire and placed the coin inside a US quarter airtite. Then shave the pvc plastic off the wire and wrapped the wire around the coin and put the lid on to keep it from moving.
Removing the PVC plastic coating should be fine with the coin being made of copper touching other copper with no risk of corrosions. When doing things like this is is a must to make sure you know what you are doing because regular coated wires are made of PVC that will damage your coins! Never use a copper wire on anything but copper coins. Two different metals over time will have bad effects on each other. So if your coin is aluminum? Use aluminum wire.

But hey you would think by now you can get airtite holders made for every coin out there. But the fact is there are some out there but not easily affordable or easy to get sometimes. So then you have to ask is the coin worth spending at about $1.00US per coin to put a holder on it?
