1832 Capped Bust Half Dime PCGS XF Details Bent - Tough Date Coin
This listing is for a very tough to find 1832 Capped Bust Half Dime.
Beautiful original coin with a lot of "meat on the bone" along with several rim hits has resulted in PCGS grading this one XF Details - Bent. I didn't detect this coin as being bent or warped prior to submission so it has to be a subtle bend. It's hard to examine it through the slab to pickup on it.
Other than the bent designation, the surfaces are lovely with a thick, original toned patina. The eagle wing, neck and claw feathers are all virtually full. Similarly, on the obverse, the hair curls of Ms. Lady Liberty are full, thick and very detailed. Trace luster in the crevices and cracks and hints of golden, aqua and champagne tone can be seen as the coin is held and rotated in the light.
