"1832" U. S. Mint PHILA. Souvenir, George Soley. Soley purchased the US Mint's first steam powered coinage press as scrap, refurbished it and put it to use. He made a number of these little medallions circa 1870's. These are not a official issue, but a interesting historical item. Soley's press is currently on display at the ANA's museum in Colorado Springs. Lord's Prayer on the reverse. Brass, gilted. About 13mm. AU. The ribbon appears to be the type that is either original, or at least period.
