This brilliant unciculated specimen has nice frosty silver surfaces.
ATTRIBUTION:
OBV. (1): 7 strongly repunched at base. This specimen has a light bisecting die crack (11:30).
REV. (KK): U in UNITED very close to wing. Early die state.
The 1837 Capped Bust Half Dime was the last year of the type. This is the lowest mintage of any year in the series. Later in 1837, the new Liberty Seated design coins were first minted.
