This item is a 1838-O Seated Liberty Dime Exonumia Fantasy Coin. It is not a replica or a reproduction of a standard-issue US Mint coin as the shield on the obverse is upright. All standard issue dimes minted in New Orleans in 1938 had the shield slanted on the obverse. In addition, there is drapery shown below the left elbow. Coins issues of Variety 1 (no stars on the obverse) had NO drapery displayed under the left elbow. The coin is made of copper with silver plating. It weighs 2.38+/- grams and measures 17.5+/- millimeters in diameter. All offers considered. PayPal ONLY PLEASE. Shipping will be by USPS First Class Mail and is FREE.
