This coin is an 1839 US Silver Liberty Seated Half Dime. It is the version that has no drapery under the left elbow. It was graded by PCGS as Genuine, Scratch - XF Detail. In my layman's opinion, the scratch appears to be more an overlap of metal caused by the die. The Philadelphia Mint issued 1,069,150 coins of this design in 1839.
