An attractive original Choice AU example, with the sharpness and degree of wear of an AU-58. However the surfaces are just a bit dull and the luster does not pop off the coin like needed to certify AU-58, in my opinion. This is due to the coin having been recovered from a misc. lot of period coinage owned by a non-collector. The slight dullness is likely due to having been stored in a leather purse. Regardless, no damage of any sort, no significant marks, spots or stains. Quality wise, very PQ - priced based upon my opinion of value. I will say that if you submit the coin it does have a shot at certifying AU-58, and if so this is easily closer to a $400 coin.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
