A classic example of where 95% of the survivors of all early U. S. coins come from. This coin displays a couple of areas of light rim disturbance from knocking about in a loose lot of coinage previously owned undoubtedly by a non-collector. Despite this, few if any marks to be seen in the fields or on the devices, and it has nice original medium chocolate Brown surfaces with no corrosion (a couple of very tiny flecks of carbon), with luster being evident. Unlikely to certify above MS-61, so not worth the effort. Offered for what it is, a very attractive early U. S. Type coin in high grade, that does not break the bank.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
