"‹This 1853 P Seated Liberty Quarter has some damage on the obverse where, perhaps, a pin or clasp was attached. The reverse has been planned down and hand engraved to become what is know as a "Love Token". I believe the reverse letters are "AH" which is an emblem for Odd Fellows, Shriners and Masonic Organizations.
