This is a rare silver token without a lot of information I could find about it - but here is what I could dig up. The obverse is a replica of Confederate State Cent minted in 1861 during the civil war. It appears to be part of the reproduction series made (in Germany?) around 1955 by Robert Bashlow, after the original dies were copied, commemorating the original series attempt (which apparently never went into full production.) The reverse has a "1/10" fraction indicating value of a dime which was never minted as a confederate coin, confirming its status as a commemorative or token. Bashlow reproduced several different confederate state token types of never used fractionals at this time including 1/100, et al. Whereas the original was indicated as "1 cent" and was made from copper. If anyone knows more or better about it's origins please let me know. Thanks
