This item is a 1861-D Gold One Dollar ($1) Indian Princess Large Head Exonumia Fantasy Coin. It is not a replica or a reproduction of a standard-issue US Mint coin as the only coin of this date/design was larger in diameter. This coin is smaller in diameter than the standard-issue US Mint One Dollar coins made from 1856 through 1889. The coin is made of copper with gold plating.
